Description
We are currently seeking a Computer Technician understanding the importance of great customer service!
Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


Set up, configure and network new PCs, laptops and printers.

Install and configure operating systems, software applications and upgrades using automated install procedures.
Generate, track and close trouble tickets for Apartment Communities, PC, laptop, printer, server, application, technical and network support.

Handle database and Website programming tasks (primarily using Java, C, C++, HTML.)

Redesign internet and intranet pages. Optimize Website for search engine rankings and improved functionality of company database and maintain e-mail server.

Identify and solve viruses, malware, spyware, phishing, etc.

Ensure sufficient security for local area network, Microsoft Windows-based servers and network-based applications.

Work closely with corporate office staff, Apartment Community Staff and external vendors to produce results that are responsive to the computing needs.



Additional Skills and Experience

Knowledge of Windows Vista to Windows 10.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office versions 2007 to 2013.
Knowledge of Java programming, Net, PHP, MySQL, HTML and MS Access.
Networking Knowledge (TCP/IP, DNs, ARP, SNMP, Routing and Switching, VLANs, VPN).
Very strong in HTML5 programming.
Associates Degree in Computer Technology or equivalent preferred.
